Welcome to FreeTringi.online , a student-led hub for environmental and biological research focused on Kosovo’s unique biodiversity.
Founded in 2020 by Tringi Studies , FreeTringi is a non-commercial student project initiated by graduate students from the University of Pristina. We are passionate about environmental science and dedicated to raising awareness about the ecological challenges facing our region.
Our mission is to produce original, field-based scientific research that informs the public, supports conservation efforts, and contributes to the long-term protection of Kosovo’s natural ecosystems.
Our research focus includes:
- Plant morphology and anatomy
- Aquatic insect biodiversity and habitat analysis
- The impact of water pollution on ecosystems
- Environmental changes in Central Kosovo
Each study is grounded in fieldwork , scientific methodology, and a shared commitment to protecting nature. We believe that understanding our environment is the first step toward preserving it.
Our Geographic Focus
We work primarily in regions such as Lipjan , the Llapi River Basin , and Blinaja National Park , where biodiversity is rich and environmental monitoring is essential.
Our Team
Our team consists of dedicated researchers and graduates with backgrounds in environmental science, biology, and related fields. Although we are not a formal organization, we operate with academic integrity and a strong drive to contribute to Kosovo’s scientific landscape.
