This chapter will present the results obtained from measuring the morphological parameters of the plant species Cichorium intybus L., as well as its anatomical structure.
Morphological Structure of Cichorium intybus L.
Next, we will present the results of the statistical calculations for several morphological parameters, broken down by each location.

Correlation Results for the Three Locations
The table below presents the comparisons between the three locations.

Comparison of Results
It was observed that the average total plant height was lower at Location 2, with a value of 61.8 cm, compared to Locations 1 and 3, which had average values of 63.5 cm and 63.4 cm, respectively. Another important parameter that showed variation was leaf length. At Location 1, the average leaf length was the highest at 10.64 cm, followed by Location 2 with 9.88 cm, and Location 3 with the lowest value at 9.56 cm.
Additionally, a variation was noted in the number of flowers in bloom. The highest average number of flowers was recorded at Location 3, with a value of 11.58, while the lowest was at Location 1, with 10.63, and Location 2 showed a value of 9.79. Regarding the number of blooms per plant, Location 1 had the highest average number at 9.9, followed by Location 2 with 7.1, and Location 3 with the lowest value of 6.9.
For bloom diameter, the highest average value was recorded at Location 2 (2.43 cm), followed by Location 1 (1.9 cm), and Location 3 with the lowest value (1.57 cm). In terms of the number of fruits, Location 1 again showed the highest average (16.2), followed by Location 3 (11), and Location 2 with the lowest number (8.4).
Finally, for fruit width, the values at Locations 1 and 2 were relatively close, at 3.36 mm and 3.3 mm, respectively, while the lowest average fruit width was observed at Location 3 (2.75 mm).

The leaves of chicory are all serrated, lanceolate, elongated, and relatively soft.
In the cross-section of the leaf, the midrib was observed, which had a triangular shape and was composed of three vascular bundles.

Numerous trichomes were observed; both epidermal layers were covered with trichomes.



CONCLUSION
During the research conducted on the morphological parameters of the plant samples of Cichorium intybus L. collected from three different locations, the results were obtained as shown in the table below.

From the table above, it can be observed that the morphological parameters show higher values in the plant samples collected from Location 1. The parameters that have increased include leaf length with 10.64 cm, followed by the number of blooms on the plant, where at this location, the plant has more blooms, recorded at 9.9. The number of fruits is 16.2, and the root length is 6.58.
